A Red-Thangka or "Mar-Thang" in Tibetan of the deity of longevity,
Amitāyus
The body of Amitāyus is red in color, sitting on a moon disk and lotus
seat supported by deep blue color of Azurite with thin lines of gold radiating
outward from his body.
The vermilion red area around him is filled with gold line drawing of small
Amitāyus to multiply his blessing, which represent that the Buddha's methods
and manifestations to help sentient beings are limitless.
