He is also known as the Second Buddha and was born spontaneously within a lotus in the middle of a lake.
In this Thangka he is portrayed sitting on a lotus surrounded by flowers
with various offerings such as jewels, elephant tusks, coral before him
in a sea of clouds.
His smooth skin is slightly reddish shaded with carmine red and all the
garments are decorated with highly detailed motifs with gold. The edge
of blue garment has decorative stripes with designs made by polishing the
gold with pointed agate stone.
