One of the roles of a thangka painter is to paint, restore and repaint these sacred figures. While metal statues are commonly seen, those made from softer materials often contain delicate parts, requiring the painter to exercise great care during the painting process.<\/p><p>The style of painting varies. Some statues are fully adorned with vibrant colors, while others are primarily gilded and selectively painted\u2014often only the face, hair, and a few small details.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eca6711 elementor-widget elementor-widget-html\" data-id=\"eca6711\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"html.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<!-- 1\u3064\u76ee -->\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\">\n  <button class=\"toggle-btn\">Read more<\/button>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"hidden-text\">\n Unlike thangka painting, where the painter creates the entire image from scratch, statue painting begins with a pre-formed face and expression.
