This thangka depicts four-armed Chenrezig, one of the most widely venerated deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Surrounded by colorful blossoms, the figure is set within a small A4-sized composition.

The halo behind Chenrezig is executed in a translucent style characteristic of the Karma Gadri tradition. Inside a circle rendered with white shading, fine wavy lines drawn in pure gold have been carefully applied. This transparent treatment allows the background to remain visible, lending a sense of openness and spaciousness to the composition despite its small format.
