One of the twenty-one emanations of the noble Tārā, this deity is praised in the fourth verse of the canonical Praise to the Twenty-One Tārās.

Painted on a small A4 size canvas primed with a yellow-ochre ground, the figure is rendered primarily in delicate red lines, enhanced subtly by soft shading on the body to suggest volume and presence. Jewelry, the outer arcs of the radiant halo, and parts of the ritual offerings shimmer where gold pigment has been meticulously polished, giving depth and brilliance to the ochre-toned background, despite the restrained palette.
