Traditional Tibetan drum suspended within a square wooden frame.
Its wooden shell is adorned with a Wheel of Dharma at the top and two golden dragons on either side, each holding a blue jewel in their hands.
A traditional Tibetan relief painting technique known as “Kyum-bur” is used for most of the outlining and intricate details. The stretched leather surface is painted green, featuring a “Wheel of Joy”—or “Ga-kyil” in Tibetan—at its center.
