High-quality reproductions of the Phurba, a Tibetan ritual dagger, presented from three distinct perspectives—color, proportion, and symbolism. The original artwork was created using natural mineral pigments on Japanese Tanzaku paper board.
The Phurba (or Phurpa) is a powerful ritual dagger wielded by wrathful deities such as Guru Dorje Drolo and Vajrakilaya in Thangka paintings. Used to purify the land and protect sacred spaces during ceremonies, it also dispels negative energies and subdues harmful forces.
